Deskripsi Singkat

Adhya Ranadireksa, a photographer with a focus on still life photography skills, responding to bids from Platform3 theme “Questioning colonialism”, the asserting about the body. Here is the organ of the body of a decomposed body, displayed, is also preserved. In the eyes Adhya, similar organs of illustration. He illustrates the action of human collectivities colonialist control over the “internal organs”, on the mastery of the senses, in ways of thinking, way of talking, ways of view, how to feel, in short, the way we view the world even understand ourselves. Adhya photographing organs in various positions which suggest a specific figure. This metaphor similar to the phrase “a forked tongue.” Organs of the body, when treated as such, reveals how we, in addition to the body as an object of stares, also interpret.
